Timothy "Timmy" Holbrook

Mr. Timothy “Timmy” Holbrook, age 34, of Montgomery County, died Monday, April 8, 2024.  He was a native of Uvalda and lived there and in Alston all his life.  He was a 2007 graduate of Montgomery County High School, and he attended East Georgia College in Swainsboro.  Timmy enjoyed music, drawing, building and “mechanicing”, but he especially loved spending time with his daughter.  He attended Cedar Crossing Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy A. Holbrook, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Rose Crabb; aunt, Kim Meyers; and uncle, Bill Clark.

His family includes one daughter Addisyn Holbrook of Hazlehurst; mother, Karen Sikes and husband Lee of Alston; maternal grandparents, Pauline and Kenny Clark of Alston; two sisters, Amber Plante and husband Holden of Alston, and Erin Wyatt and husband Kyle of Vidalia; two brothers, Chris Williams of Johnson Corner and Van Sikes of Toombs County; two aunts, Marsha O’Neal and husband Michael of Cedar Crossing and Regina Rushing and husband Jason of Alston.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, April 13th, from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey and Mr. Ken Garrett officiating.  Burial will follow at Uvalda City Cemetery.
